After months of work and preparations, Right To Play in cooperation with Responsibility Works launch this years seminar event which takes place 1 December, 2016 at Folketeateret, Oslo; The value of social responsibility – what can you learn from the best?

This years speakers list represents key opinion leaders from business, politics, media, NGO and sports. Sir Richard Branson, Børge Brende and more represents the speakers.

The idea for Responsibility Works and call for valuable social responsibility, came from the work and collaboration between the cross-country ski team, Team Santander, and Right To Play in 2015. The shared focus on being good ambassadors and contribute to society by raising awareness for social responsibility and call for action. In 2015 we arranged the event “4 hours for valuable social responsibility” (www.4timer.no), where we had key opinion leaders from politics, business, media, NGO and sports.

Today we see the trend that businesses are constantly striving to interpret how global trends affect companies and see it as our social mission to provide services in the market to help businesses reducing negative impact on society and the environment, while strengthening positive presence. Leadership and business-driven social responsibility where profitability and sustainability are interrelated. It helps our customers understand how accountability will have a positive effect on the financial statements.

Responsibility Works wants to convey the expertise and to share best-practice knowledge of sustainability and corporate responsibility from some of the most successful leaders. Our goal is to provide policy makers, directors, managers, responsible for the profession, and others interested an insight into the subject, as well as provide useful input for efforts to achieve increased profitability and sustainability.

Income from the event will be donated to Right To Play and charitable work.
